Washington's West Capitol Campus sits on a lush landscape designed by the Olmsted Brothers. Lighting had never been addressed on a campus-wide scale prior to this master plan.

 

Dark Light’s plan uses layers of light to create a consistent luminous hierarchy throughout the campus. Use of historic poles form legible pedestrian pathways, while concealed illumination highlights the historic landscapes, buildings, and monuments.
